Gothia Orders Four LNG-Powered Tankers
Swedish cargo transporter Gothia Tanker Alliance has ordered four newbuilding intermediate product/chemical tankers with LNG propulsion. The vessels will be built to a design, developed by FKAB and Furetank, with close to 50 % reduction of CO2 emissions. Partners of the alliance, Furetank Rederi AB, Rederi AB Älvtank and Thun Tankers BV, have hired Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding Ltd.
