Fugro Secures E&P Support Contracts

Fugro has won three contracts with BHP Petroleum (Deepwater) Inc., which see the company delivering a range of specialist services to support exploration and production operations in Trinidad and Tobago and the Gulf of Mexico.Within Trinidad’s Block 3(a) Fugro is providing geophysical and geotechnical services from dedicated vessels to support the development of the Ruby field.

Fugro Returns to China for Gas Hydrate Research

Dutch survey and geotechnical services firm Fugro said it has been awarded a contract by China’s Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey (GMGS) to perform gas hydrate investigation on the Northern Continental Slope of the South China Sea. The contract is valued at approximately $40 million and is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2018.

Fugro Secures PEMEX Contract Extension

Fugro (Mexico) in conjunction with long-time associates, Diavaz, has been awarded an extension of the ongoing offshore geophysical and geotechnical campaign by the Mexican national oil company, PEMEX. Geotechnical field operations, laboratory testing and Geoconsulting activities will support exploration drilling activities in the Bay of Campeche and deepwater locations in the Perdido area.
