Forum Energy Technologies won an order to supply subsea equipment for a major cable maintenance project in South East Asia, specifically a Perry XT500 trenching system and Dynacon Launch and Recovery System as well as associated surface power and control installations. Forum Bags Mojave ROV Deal
Oilfield products company Forum Energy Technologies said it has sealed a contract to supply a Mojave remotely operated vehicle (ROV) for the Norwegian firm ESEA Marine.Sub-Atlantic Mojave will also be used by ESEA Submarine’s sister company, ESEA Marine AS, which has customers that include fish farms, port authorities and insurance companies, said the international oilfield products company, serving the subsea, drilling, completion and production sectors of the oil and natural gas industry.In addition, the Mojave will play a training role in helping ROV pilots to develop their skills.Georg Stranden…
Forum ROV to support University Renewables Projects
Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. won an order to supply the University of Limerick with a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) to support its subsea inspection and intervention work on renewable energy infrastructure. Forum Delivers 350th RT Torque Machine
Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. said it has designed, manufactured, tested and delivered its 350th rotational torque (RT) torque machine to TAM International, a globally recognized downhole inflatable packer leader. The torque machine, or bucking unit as it is commonly referred, was manufactured at the Forum AMC facility in Aberdeen, U.K. This represents the sixth unit that TAM has purchased from Forum in three years, and is a testament to TAM’s growth plans, as well as their trust in Forum’s equipment and global support network.
Forum Delivers Its Largest Subsea PLR Systems to North Africa
Forum Energy Technologies Inc. has delivered a number of its largest subsea Pig Launchers and Receivers (PLRs) and laydown heads to a project in North Africa. The nine PLRs have been deployed as part of a development of nine subsea wells, which vary from four to 24 inches in size, with water depths ranging from 300 to 800 meters. Manufactured at Forum’s Moffat subsea engineering business in Northumberland, U.K., the custom-designed units will be used in the completion of flooding, cleaning, gauging, strength test, intelligent pigging and dewatering activities.

Forum AMC Awarded Contracts for Bucking Unit
Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. (FET) announced that its AMC Engineering product line has been awarded multimillion dollars worth of new orders within one month. The multiple orders are for the manufacture and supply of its fully rotational torque (RT) bucking unit with the first delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2016. They have been purchased by three of the largest multi-national oil service companies and will enable improved and increased tool make up capabilities at locations in the Middle East, South America and Caspian regions.
Forum Energy's Offshore Drilling Record Q4 2013 Performance
Houston-based Forum Energy Technologies report in Q4 & Year 2013 financial results that its Drilling & Subsea segment achieved a 5% increase in sequential revenue compared to the third quarter 2013 on record quarterly sales of drilling and downhole equipment and products, partially offset by delays related to remotely operated vehicles and subsea components. Fourth quarter 2013 revenue of $394 million compared to $330 million for the fourth quarter 2012. Net income for the fourth quarter was $35 million or $0.36 per diluted share compared to $24 million or $0.26 per diluted share for the prior year period.
