Stork Worley JV Wins Neptune Energy Gig

Stork Worley Integrated Solutions, a joint venture of American multinational engineering and construction firm Fluor Corporation, has secured a four-year framework agreement for EPCIC (engineering, procurement, construction, installation & commissioning) and decommissioning services for brownfield modification from Neptune Energy for its Dutch North Sea assets.Fluor will book its portion of the undisclosed contract value in the first quarter of 2020, said a press note.Neptune is the largest offshore gas and oil producer in the Dutch sector of the North Sea and is part of the Neptune Energy Group…

Centrica Extends Stork Contract

Fluor Corporation announced that Stork, part of Fluor’s Diversified Services segment, was awarded a contract extension by Centrica Storage Limited to continue providing fabric maintenance and associated services for the company’s UK onshore and offshore oil and gas assets. Fluor said it booked the undisclosed contract value in the second quarter of 2019.“Stork is extremely pleased to deepen our long-term relationship with Centrica in the UK by providing services to extend the life and efficiency of its assets in the northeast of England,” said Taco de Haan, Stork’s president.

COOEC-Fluor Completes Module Fabrication

Texas-based multinational engineering and construction firm Fluor Corporation announced  that its joint venture COOEC-Fluor Heavy Industries fabrication yard has completed the central and wellhead platforms for CNOOC’s Dongfang 13-2 Gas Fields Development Project.The central platform recently departed the COOEC-Fluor yard in Zhuhai, China, and follows the successful loadout of the wellhead platform in August 2018. Huge Kuwait Refinery Project Contract for HHI

South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), says it has won a total US$ 3.4 billion Mina Abdullah (MAB-2) package for the Clean Fuel Project (CFP) for the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) in a joint venture with Fluor Corporation and Daewoo Engineering & Construction. HHI explain that the joint venture will upgrade the daily oil refining capacity of the KNPC’s existing Mina Al Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah refinery plant from 736,000 barrels to 800,000 barrels, and will lower the sulfur content of petroleum products to 5%.
