Roxtec Bags $1.7 Bln Rampion Wind Farm Deal

International cable seal manufacturer Roxtec has delivered a sealing solution to support a new £1.3 billion ($1.7 billion) offshore wind farm in the English Channel. Roxtec designed and supplied all cable seals involved in the Rampion Offshore wind farm, located 13km off the coast of Sussex. In April, the topside for the Rampion substation departed Rosyth for the project site and the first of 116 wind turbines began to be installed.

Neste to Deliver Low-Sulfur Marine Fuel to Eckerö Line

Neste will begin deliveries of low-sulfur marine fuel to Eckerö Line at the beginning of next year. The agreement covers m/s Finlandia on the Helsinki-Tallinn route throughout 2017. Finland Grants Support to Three Small LNG Terminals

The Finnish government granted 65.2 million euros (84.22 million US dollar) in subsidies to build three small liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals to cut on use of fuel oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in industry, the economy ministry said on Thursday. Finland is building a network of LNG terminals along its coastline, expecting that LNG will be increasingly used as a shipping fuel in the Baltic Sea.
