Gazprom Saves RUB 7 bln on Lower Energy Consumption
At meeting of the Gazprom Coordinating Committee for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency that took place at the Gazprom headquarters under the chairmanship of Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Company's Management Committee – Head of the Coordinating Committee, it was noted that in 2014 Gazprom consistent endeavors at mitigating the environmental impact had paid off. It resulted, inter alia, in 9.1 per cent reduction of air emissions and 9 per cent greenhouse emissions versus 2013. Like in previous years, the Company was gradually cutting down the use of energy resources for its own needs.
Serbia's NIS to Invest $384 mln in 2015

Serbian oil company NIS, majority owned by Russia's Gazprom Neft, said on Friday it planned to invest a total of 40 billion dinars ($384 million) in 2015. "NIS will start the implementation of phase two of refining facilities modernisation, namely the construction of a bottom of the barrel facility in the Pancevo refinery," the company said in a statement. "Also, the existing facilities will continue with the introduction of energy saving technologies as well as the technologies which optimise production and reduce non-recoverable losses," it said.
