Deme Offshore Joins Neptune's Hydrogen Project

Offshore installation contractor Deme Offshore has joined Neptune Energy's PosHYdon pilot, the world’s first offshore green hydrogen project, being developed in the Dutch North Sea.Part of the Belgian Deme Group,  the company joins as a partner and will provide the hydrogen unit for installation on the Neptune-operated Q13a platform.

Dredging International Contract Goes to Sif

Netherlands-based Sif Holding N.V. announced that Dredging International has awarded to Sif the production of 58 monopiles and the primary steel of the transition pieces for SeaMade offshore wind farm.The manufactures steel foundations to the offshore wind and oil and gas said in a release that the contract has been awarded by EPCI-contractor Dredging International, a DEME Group's subsidiary.

C-Job to Provide Basic Design for DEME’s Orion

First Monopile Loaded at Sif’s Maasvlakte 2 Location

Sif loaded its first monopile on board a seagoing vessel. The ship in question is the Innovation, a heavy-lift jack-up vessel owned by Geosea, part of the Belgian DEME Group. It was also the first job handled at the new section of Maasvlakte 2’s deep-sea quay (port number 8317). Monopiles are used for the foundations of offshore wind turbines. They can weigh up to 1,000 metric tons apiece.

AXYS Technologies Acquires FLiDAR NV

AXYS Technologies announced today it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100 percent of the FLiDAR NV shares. Canadian-based and privately-held, AXYS has developed environmental monitoring technologies for the last 40 years. In 2009, AXYS developed the WindSentinel floating LiDAR, which has since evolved into a dual-LiDAR platform.
