SensorView Reduces Non-productive Rig Time at Ichthys

BP to further Develop Oman's Khazzan Gas Field

BP and Oman Oil today signed a heads of agreement with the Government of the Sultanate of Oman committing to amend the Oman Block 61 exploration and production sharing agreement (EPSA), extending the licence area of the block and enabling a further development of the major Khazzan tight gas field. BP is the operator of Block 61 with a 60% interest and Oman Oil holds the other 40%.

SharpEye VTS Radar for FPSO

Kelvin Hughes has supplied two SBS-800 SharpEye series radars for the Ichthys LNG project located 220km off the shore of Western Australia in the Browse basin. The radars will be installed on both the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel and the Central Processing Facility (CPF), the CPF and FPSO will be stationed about 3.5 km apart on the Ichthys field.

San Leon Update on Rawicz-12

ExxonMobil Resumes Drilling at Point Thomson

Wentworth Sees Surging Cash Flow After Tanzania Gas Deal

Oil explorer Wentworth Resources expects its cash flow to surge from the first quarter of next year as it earns revenues from a new gas sales deal at its Mnazi Bay and Msimbati Gas fields in Tanzania, it said on Monday.
