International  training leader 20|20 Business Insight is partnering with Mintra Training Portal to boost the global delivery of its world-leading, specialist project management training for energy sector workers in remote locations.

20|20 is the largest provider of Association of Project Management (APM) and Project Management Institute (PMI) courses and certification to the oil and gas industry, and a range of public and private sector organizations, delivering more than 200 courses worldwide.

Mintra Training Portal delivers solutions to more than 500 Oil and Gas Companies and in excess of 1 million personnel.

The partnership will enable 20|20 Business Insight’s APM and PMI programs to be made available through Mintra’s learning management system, TrainingPortal, with both businesses offering courses from their respective areas of expertise to mutual and new clients from a single source.

20|20 aims to increase revenue in the offshore oil and gas sector by around $767,000 per annum through the new partnership.

Tony Marks, chief executive of 20|20 Business Insight, said: “This is an ideal partnership for 20|20 and Mintra, providing significant opportunities for mutual business development.

"Mintra Training Portal’s online platform allows clients to access training materials in any location, reducing the requirement for managers to be diverted from the core duties for training events in the traditional conference centre environment.

"Delivering our APM and PMI course portfolio through Mintra’s TrainingPortal provides operators and oilfield service companies of all scales with an efficient, cost-effective method of ensuring management competence is maintained on and offshore.”

Mintra Training Portal recently secured investment from private equity firm, Riverside, allowing the company to continue to expand in its current market, delivering solutions that can reduce training costs and ensure competence among workers in the industry in the UK and Norwegian continental shelf.
