Italy's biggest renewable energy company Enel Green Power said on Wednesday its core earnings last year were 1.9 billion euros ($2 billion), in line with the company's guidance.
The group, controlled by Europe's No. 2 utility by installed capacity Enel, said its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 5.6 percent compared to the previous year.
A Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S consensus pegged last year's EBITDA at 1.839 billion euros. The company had been guiding towards 1.9 billion euros.
Net debt at the end of December was 6 billion euros, up from 5.3 billion euros a year earlier.
Installed capacity at the end of December was 9,600 megawatts from 8,800 MW the previous year.
