Directorate Change at Sound Energy
Sound Energy, the European / Mediterranean focused upstream gas company, announced that its Non-Executive Chairman, Simon Davies, has decided to step down as a director of the Company following the Annual General Meeting being held today. Mr Davies is stepping down to pursue his other interests.
The Company has asked James Parsons to act as interim Non-Executive Chairman whilst the Company concludes a search for a replacement Non-Executive Chairman.
James Parsons, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "The Board is extremely grateful to Simon for his significant contributions to the Company's development both as a director and material investor. I would also personally like to express my gratitude for his mentoring and support over the last two years. We wish Simon all the best in his future endeavours."
Simon Davies, departing Non-Executive Chairman of Sound Energy, stated, "It has been a pleasure to have been the Company's Chairman through what continues to be an exciting period for Sound Energy. I remain a significant Sound Energy shareholder and look forward to success at the Company's three strategic plays."
