New Twin Electro-Magnetic Telemetry System for MWD
Enteq Upstream PLC (Enteq), a provider of systems and components for Measurement While Drilling (MWD) and directional drilling, has introduced the new Twin Electro-Magnetic Telemetry System into its product portfolio. The system is used for high-speed electromagnetic (EM) MWD telemetry, as an alternative or supplement to mud pulse telemetry to transmit drilling data. Uniquely, the system enables the use of mud pulse and EM telemetry concurrently, giving quicker EM data transmission whilst offering full redundancy.
Enteq Selects Shenkai as Shanghai Distributor
Enteq Upstream PLC, supplier of systems and components for Measurement While Drilling (MWD) and directional drilling, has appointed Shenkai as its new distributor in Shanghai. Shenkai, which specializes in oilfield products such as mudlogging equipment, will provide Enteq with in-country support and will hold substantial stock. In addition, the company will supply Enteq drilling products, particularly the XXT MWD product line, to the Chinese market. As a result of this partnership, Shenkai has incorporated five initial Enteq kits into its stock, valued at approximately $2 million.
Enteq Adds LWD Offering to Product Line
Enteq Upstream PLC, a provider of systems and components for Measurement WhileDrilling (MWD) and directional drilling, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Target Well Controls (Aberdeen), announced Martin Perry, Enteq’s chief executive officer.
